A little about me...

IMG_2664.jpg

Thank you for taking the time to review my portfolio. I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (class of 2020), receiving my Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering with honors alongside my minors in Robotics Engineering and Mathematics. I am currently completing my Master in Design Engineering (MDE) program at Harvard University.

Through my diverse experiences, I have the competencies to participate in all phases of product development, including customer discovery, brainstorming, R&D, technical documentation, 3D design, failure simulation, prototype fabrication, sensors implementation, testing, programming, manufacturing, and patenting.

Developing skills in marketing and entrepreneurship have also shaped me into a well-rounded engineer. I am well-versed in protecting the intellectual properties of new products, developing business plans, and providing advice on marketing strategies. Not only do I see the development process from an engineering perspective, but I also take into consideration the viewpoints of the marketing team, manufacturers, retailers, and most important of them all, the end-users. I am excited to implement these skills in my next position and be a valuable member of my team.

In my spare time, I always seek to learn new skills and push the limits of my creativity. If not working on an engineering project, I am either frolicking around the city late at night to test my photography skills or getting lost in nature to find inspiration for my next project. Below you can see some of my recent photography works/digital arts.

I have been actively engaged in research, robotic competitions, and entrepreneurship activities in recent years, winning multiple awards globally. Moreover, I have held various leadership positions, making me well-prepared for any future managerial role. Most notably, as the former President of the UNL Robotics Club, I have strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to identify the strength of my teammates, use scarce resources to the fullest, and manage an interdisciplinary team towards a common goal. Some of my proudest accomplishments include raising $12,000 to fund robotics-related activities in my community and winning 2nd Place at the ASABE International Robotics Design Competition in 2017, followed by 5th place in 2018, 4th place in 2019, and presenting my research to Nebraska State Senators in 2020.  Most recently, the team I founded won 1st place in the 2022 ASABE competition.
